How to arrive in Florence

By train
Santa Maria Novella Central Station, where all high-speed trains stop, is located just a few minutes by foot from the “Palazzo dei Congressi”. Some high-speed trains could stop at “Campo di Marte” Station, where it’s possible to reach the “Palazzo dei Congressi” by train shuttle or bus or taxi.

By air
Direct air links with the main European and Italian cities are available to reach the “A. Vespucci” airport of Florence. The airport is located 5 km from the centre of the town and from the “Palazzo dei Congressi”. More flights, even intercontinental, arrive at the “G. Galilei” airport in Pisa (80 km from Florence, but served by a frequent shuttle service).

From Santa Maria Novella Central Station
The “Palazzo dei Congressi” is a few minutes away from the left side of the Station (by foot).

From Firenze Peretola Airport
You can reach the centre of the town and the “Palazzo dei Congressi” by taxi or by the shuttle Service “Volainbus”, arriving at the SMN Central Station (15’ run).

From Pisa Airport
You can reach the centre of Florence and the “Palazzo dei Congressi” by train or by the shuttle Services “Terravision” and “Rayanair”, arriving at the SMN Central Station (60’ run).

By Taxi
Florence taxis can be booked in advance by phone at 055.4242 or at 055.4390. Regular taxi parks are located nearby the airport and the train stations.

By Bus
Bus Lines in Florence stop almost always at the SMN Central Station, nearby the “Palazzo dei Congressi”. Tickets can be bought at the newsstands and tobacco shops or through a mobile SMS.

Car parking
Nearby the “Palazzo dei Congressi” are located several pay car parks. The nearest and roomy ones are those of Fortezza Fiera and Santa Maria Novella.
